水草情迷

開缸2個月, 水都好清, 每2-3天換3分1水, 最近兩日水質變白, 發現掛濾水流很小, 有油面, 另外有2個鮑魚螺及3隻大和蝦死了, 是否N-cycle 己死, 水質變差, 要重新加消化細菌嗎? 生物環是否一起更換全新嗎? 水要換嗎? 請各位幫忙....thanks

本人係14"x9"x11" 缸,
Atman 掛濾,
8cm 風扇, DIY co2
無泥底, 有莫絲, 木化石景
AJ 18W PL 夾光管,
PSB 消化細菌
餘下飛狐x2, 黑群x4, 大和x1, 鮑魚螺x2

掛濾照有by pass設計, 水流不應變小 ? 是那一個型號 ?
估計是過濾系統出問題.

洗吓過濾, 重新再來吧, 如果水變清後, 不必咁勤換水, 一週一次OK.

DIY CO2 可以先不用, 試試看

michael7: If the water becomes milky, the bacteria purifying system is dead. What have you done recently to the tank? Any new creatures? Have you added any chemicals, say TDC? To answer your questions:

- "開缸2個月, 水都好清, 每2-3天換3分1水": This should be done only at the start when the water is hazy. Once the water is clear, you may change the water once a week. If you have many creatures inside the tank, twice a week is better.
- "最近兩日水質變白": The bacteria purifying system is dead.
- "發現掛濾水流很小": Have you ever washed the hang-on filter? Sometimes, dirt would accumulate on the pipe and inside the canister. You have to regularly clean them. Once every two months is a good practice.
- "有油面": Obviously this is due to slow (and abnormal) water flow.
- "另外有2個鮑魚螺及3隻大和蝦死了": A strong signal that your water condition has turned bad.
- " 是否N-cycle 己死, 水質變差": As mentioned above, very likely the system is dead.
- "要重新加消化細菌嗎?": You'd better start over again. Remember to wash the filter before starting over.
- "生物環是否一起更換全新嗎?": No need. Just rinse them and reuse them.
- "水要換嗎?" If you are going to start over everything again, this is a must. But inevitably, there will be casualty.

BTW, what do you have inside the hang-on filter? Do you use active carbon? If yes, have you ever replaced it? You need to replace the active carbon at least once every month, or it wil release toxic materials that can kill every creature inside.

多謝各位 c-hing 解答, 還有些問題:
掛濾 Atman model: HF-400, 己改用黑生化棉, 因用白棉時常塞, 無用活性碳,
約2星期清洗過濾一次, 是否清洗濾水器及生物環時, 導致消化細菌死亡? (用換出來的水沖洗)
重新再來時, 洗過濾時要切底清潔嗎? 用水喉水洗得嗎?
要留下幾多水? 全部水換嗎? 要切底洗缸嗎?

1. Never use hang-on filter for a planted tank.
2. The two filter pads are of different density for different purpose. If space is allowed, you should use both of them. Also, that depends on the design of your filter.
3. Cleaning every two weeks seems too much for me. Unless you have found the water flow becoming slow, you should clean it quarterly.
4. If you're going to start over everything again, you can clean all the things thoroughly with tap water. But in that case, the creatures inside the tank may all die.
