水草情迷

我嘅水草缸將渡過第一個夏天, (在去年＋二月開缸), 風扇24小時的不停吹只可維持29度, 22隻大和蝦已經全軍覆沒, 但魚同草仲未發覺有問題。

請問Ching我要不要装水泠呢? 如要, 有什麼牌子及型號合用? 最緊要慳電,靜同埋安全。

You'd better have one. A 1/15HP chiller should be good enough. Hailea is a good choice to consider. If you don't have any budget concern, Artica is the absolute choice.

昨日終於買咗Teco TR-10, 曾經考慮買Artica, 到過大堡x睇, 個sales哥哥好似唔想賣嘢咁, 十問九唔搭, 很晦氣, 嘅然人地唔想做生意, 我都唔勉強人地。

我以前未用過水冷機， 所以唔識得比較。 我個缸約有64L水，跟據規格Teco TR-10 是給300L至500L的水缸用，應付我的小缸綽綽有餘。當壓縮機開動時有一點聲浪，但不會很吵，而且也不會很熱。

順便一問: 我應該keep住個草缸幾多度呢? 試過25度，但個玻璃出晒水，所以而家set咗26度。

quite expensive. is it the best quality chiller? very quiet?
my tank is 24" x 12" x 14"

I bought my Teco TR-10 from 巨X in $2250.

eman82: In terms of quality, Arctica is the best. However, if price is your concern, you may give Teco a try. I have never used Teco but reading from this forum says that it's ok.

do i need a strong filter if i install a chiller? or the chiller alone have enough pump?
Im using tetra EX75 only for my 24" tank
