[問題] 新手問新燈

今日在FS買了一支T5HO 24Wx4的燈全長約60cm (圖一)
有2個開關(一個開關控制2支管,即是可以4管齊開或只開二管)
回家後發覺管上 :T5HO 24W/W10000K (如圖二)
但照爬文所知是(如果有錯請指正)
飛X浦
24W / 865 HO
6500K Luman output=1900 size=549mm(21.6")

問題
1) 我的燈,如果燒了管可否改用上述飛記的865?
2) 我的缸(24"x12"x14"h 將會養草和燈魚)是否耍開4支管呢?

請 ching們賜教

You should replace them all with Philips T5HO tubes. The original tubes are not suitable for plants. Your tank size is the same as mine, so you just need to turn on 3 out of the 4 tubes.

ching, first of all thank you for your reply
however, my BCD lamp have only 2 switches (i.e. either turn on 4 tubes or 2 tubes at a time otherwise switch off all.)
2). Are you sure I can replace all my tubes to Philips?
3). Can I turn on 2 tubes for a longer time instead of 4?
4). Will it be overlighted if I turn 4 tubes on after I have replaced the tubes to Phiips?

u can take off one of the tubes

吓,原來單管都著架?仲以為要雙管先得添 :embs:

再請問果支管(Philips T5HO tubes)大約幾錢支呀?
換管唔影響隻牛掛? (大家都是24W)
請原諒我這個未入門的新仔(仲未買齊野)又無知識
又問那麼多問題 :redface:

For nice plant growth and nice fish color, i suggest GLO t5ho 6700K but quite expensive $85 (name is LIFE GLO)
but it should be the best light out there, Sylvania is also good but out of stock ($45)

i think it depends on your needs, no need to follow the trend.
for you tank size you can choose, t5ho (24w x 4) or (24w x 3), PL (36 x 2) like ADA solar II, T5 (20w x 4) ADA NA lamp

Not sure whether if LED can help plant growth or not
