i am just wondering whether the cheaper one will be crack and leaking for a year after due to the tempature (winter vs summer).
if it is not necassary, then i just get any type i like in fs.
not for the dirt issue.

1.如果有錢用ADA的ES2400絕對OK.2.或可考慮用Eheim2078.3.2080本來幾好最差就係兩入水一出水令到個缸太多入水口.4.2260出入水口太大影響美觀.5.FX5最差出入水口太大.摩打好多時有過熱保護停機後很時間都唔開機.

i just purchased the 4' tank today. here i must thank you to all brothers for all the help, specially from Andy, who gave me a long long explaination for months.
I have gone though the website of fish cooler. it list that I should use the DBA-150 model (1/5 HP), which required 1800L/H (min) to 4980L/H (maximum) flow rate canister. it seem that the only choice is 2260 or 2080 if from eheim. I think these two models should be good enough (plus I had a 2217 for second canister). Anyone can tell me what is the in/out tube size of 2080? if they are using 16/22, it would be great so i can use the in/out for fake ada glass one. don't have to use the huge 2260 inlet.

by the way, I have gone to one shop, which using a 2217 to push a chiller for a 5' tank. the tank is only used 2 set of 2217, one 2217 to chiller. why they can use such small canister to push the chiller? just try to learn more.

is 2080 running okay with dba-150?
its becuase from the fish cooler website, it require 1800L/H to 3980L/H. The 2080 is 1700L/H. will it runs smoothly?

why I prefer 2080 instead of 2260 is because :
1)it has a button to pump the water to start the engine. it seems more easy for me, as a stupid new hand and convience.
2)easier cleaning as it got a cage for each different material.
3)tube size

i'm not sure the rest,but for my 2075,the water bump never work for me,so each time i need to fill water up in canister first,otherwise it is ok

you also need to fill up the water into the canister, then press the button to fill up the water into the tube. then, it should be fine. If you don't have to button, you might need to use your mouth.
