forceopen: BCD doesn't have 24Wx3 ballast. It should be 24Wx4 but you can simply turn on 3 of them. It costs around $500.

BCD is not of the top quality - it's just cheap. If your budget allows, you may consider GLO. You have to buy two sets of them 'cos there are only two tubes for each set. If I'm correct, each set costs around $750.

Thanks all Today I go to FS and tour around for lighting system. I saw the 'BCD' and it is really a comfort price for me^^, but one thing that I haven't buy BCD because of the lighting system is fixed on the tank by left and right 'leg' (not hang by '威也', caz i originally hang my solarmax HQI and found it is really pretty).

a) I will try hard and found the lighting system cover with '有條坑响中間' for the '威也腳', I found the system cover of 'Auqa Japan' 24W x 6 (24inches) fit for my requirement , but if i buy it, I need to remove 3 out of 6 from the system, so strange???

b) I found both 'BCD' and 'Aqua Japan' is 10000K tube, need to change to 6500K?

c) AND, which brand shall i buy?

d) I note that GLO 'HAGEN' is a more pro item, today i also try to find its in FS but cannot locate it, can ching tell me which shop have its?

a) Well, it won't look strange by having 3 tubes on. The only thing is the width of the ballast will cover the whole surface of your tank that makes maintenance a bit inconvenient.
b) Yes, you need to replace them with 6500K tubes
c) In terms of quality, Aqua Japan is better than BCD
d) You can check 水木x森 , 潮x族.

I conduct a research and found a tube 'Philips t5ho 24w 6500K (about 22.5 inches long)' which buy at '科x' , no.4 元州街 is much cheaper. Is this fit for the 24 inches 'Aqua Japan' lighting system? :

Yes, Philips' tubes are of standard size. It fits Aqua Japan ballast, too.

我也在FS買了 DCB T5HO 24Wx4, 但他說是6500K...... ,
DCB手工差,一買回來巳經有聲, 打開看兩個光管火牛是用熱溶膠不是用螺絲...兩只火牛的熱溶膠全部脫落... .. 自己痴返實..

更正, 不是DCB, 是DGB 超薄24Wx4, 總之手工,質料差, 連左右膠架都暴...

yabb777兄，唔緊要la，我都試個買到d器材之後發覺有問題or發覺唔arm用 (之前試過買ADA軟水樹脂樽個T字出水位都滲水 )，加油

最後我買了 aqua japan 24w x 6 的燈架 (中間有槽，因我喜歡將燈架吊起)，之後响元州街 4號 「科x」買了6500k 的philips 管替換，只開3支 = 72w for my 24" tank (66L水)，aqua japan 的是10000k 管)，買aquajapan 時，fs sales 話「而家d人種草興用10000k，arm 架la」，聽完咪笑下law，哈哈

回家使用2日後，我發覺明顯比 solarmax hqi 70w 8000k 好，d草起晒泡，之於長期使用結果要日後再檢討..

我都用緊aqua japan 24w x 6,但我開了5支管,共120W,我係60x35x50=106L水,水面離燈有3吋左右,用落感覺不錯...起泡情況還可以...用philips管的,因原裝太差了
