水草情迷

自制CO2可否令鹿角台或(短)珍珠等水草嘔泡?

問了魚店,就算啱幾秒幾泡,泥,水質,光度等也不能達至水草嘔泡,要用買果D先做到效果,有C-HING可解答嗎?

我自制CO2，鹿角台都有嘔泡。

The fs sales you spoke to is not telling you the whole story. I use DIY CO2 in a small aquarium and have no problems with plants delivering bubbles.

The bubbles are O2 produced by plants during photosynthesis and requires the right mix of light and CO2. Normally the O2 dissolves into the water, but if the photosynthesis is very strong the excess O2 then forms bubbles that we see hanging from leaves.

DIY doesn't allow control of CO2 delivery accurately, but a right mix of CO2 + light can still be found by experiment that would promote strong photosynthesis. It just takes time and patience, and it was a lot of fun for me. By the way, DIY CO2 is less effective in larger aquariums.
