why? 我問過魚街d人, 問左3個都話800夠哂, 不過上網問就個個都話1200先夠, 而家都唔知800定1200好丫

Atman will deteriorate much after a couple of months. By then, you have to go to those shops and buy the cf-1200. That's why they prefer you to go for cf-800 first.

會唔會考慮埋二手價? 例如有一日你升呢(upgrade level) or 唔玩, 大陸野最多一百 幾拾, 而來路野就保值D, 我就建議你入隻P20.

I am agree to above comment on Atman product. I am using CF-1200 for 40" is at poor performance. It is needed to add extra external filter.

你成40"用cf1200梗係poor performance啦, 人家得24"咋~
老實講, 你一開始新桶既時候用cf-800係夠用有餘, 但係用得幾個月就會開始變慢, 因為d濾材會隔減d垃圾, 水流會慢d, 你用1200既話, 小心會打風!

我個缸24",用800都覺得ok無問題...!

Almost 90L of water using cf-800? I doubt. Do note the dimension of each tank. There are different size of tanks having length of 24".

The general rule for filtration is 10 times the tank volume. I think most 24" tank is just around 60 litres. Therefore, CF-800 claimed flow rate is 960L/h. Even if you take 40% off due to being China product, it still has 576L/h. Therefore, it should be sufficient.

Moreover, it also depends on whether the filter will be connected to other stuff, like UV, chiller, pre-filter, etc, and the stock level of the tank like how many plants and fishes. If there are such things, then CF-800 is not enough.

Actually 24" is just a small tank. I think it would be bad looking if using a very larger filter for such a small tank.

khsheh: I do agree with what you said. But do note that rse020's tank is of 90L of water. I don't think cf-800 can do the job.
