The Summer is coming so I'm considering to install a chiller for my tank. As I've already got an Eheim 2224 canister, I don't have space to install one more canister for the chiller. Can I connect the chiller to an external Eheim universal pump (approx 800-1000 litre/hr) as per the attached model instead of a canister? Will there be any risks of leakage of water? Kindly advise.

我以前的缸size也是24x12x14 (ADA std 24"缸?)
用P20(600L/H)推150A 水溫set 26度 無乜問題
著半小時又停9個字咁上下 27度on 25度off 好準

我相信如流量能更大 降溫會更有效率 600L/H的P20應是最底限度的了

請問如果响個水冷前加個前置過灑會唔會解決到生菌膜問題呢?

Hello Fish Fan, 我同你個情況完全一樣, 24"缸., 2224濾筒. 正想緊點解決加水冷問題, 因為都唔想再加個濾筒.
可以教下水泵嘅connection嘛? 因為原全冇idea. 同見Eheim個pump有成800-1000L/hr, 會唔會太勁? 驚如果加埋落缸會出現大風現象(加埋個2224出水)

a_0151: I'm still thinking of it. Some c hings say I don't even need to install an external pump and that my 2224 is already good enough. I'll double check it.

Thx Fish Fan, but i don't think mine 2224 is enough to add chiller, coz i have one 2211 prefilter and a UV lamp connection, and i don't know the flow rate is strong or week, is it possible to post a video here or can i send u e-mail to check it out?

Really want to fix the chiller' problem coz i set my tank at my room, the room temp. is very high during summer.

Another thing to consider though, if your room is already hot, a chiller will turn it into an infernal. :-P
