Just bought a BCD T5HO x 4 tube light set ....

Then i bought 2 x philip 24 w 856 tubes, and use with the orginal 10,000k tubes as well.

However, i found that the philip one are not very bright...especially the 2 end has a bit black...Not sure if the light set is not strong enough to support that ...

Should i keep using "2 x 10,000 tubes + 2 T5HO Philip" ...or "4 x T5HO Philip tubes"?

I found that it is too bright...not sure if it would be better if i change it all to Philip 865 tubes..

It's better to change them all to 865 tubes for aquatic plants.

Not sure why ...my tank is 18 height...still no buddle after using this new light set ((2 x Philip 856 tubes + 2 x 10,000 k tubes)...co2 is 3 bubble per sec...

Would that be the problem of that 2 x 10,000 k tubes?

What about the detailed setting of your tank? For example:
1. What kind of grass do you have? When do you put them into your tank?
2. What is the value of a) pH b) gH?
3. What is the temp?
4. What is your lighting schedule?
5. What about CO2? Synchronized with the lighting schedule? Where do you put the CO2 diffuser?
6. Do you use air pump?
7. What is your soil base?
8. What is the water flow rate of your canister?
9. How often do you change the water? How much?
10. How many fishes are there inside your tank?
11. For how long have you set up the tank?
12. .... etc.
