yes ar, i have read ar......
but if the peat still will make the water become brown, i may not use it also la, as i dun like the brown color water,
so, if i can choose blue or pink light, i can put back my 草泥丸 to it as the brown color will not be displayed out under pink-whit or blue-white light.
but the problem is if i use blue-white or pink-white light, my grass will turn yellow easy as it doesn't has enough light.......
this is very troublesome to me now.....poor

also, what is the chinese name of peat?

um......so, if i boil the 草泥丸, will the brown color still come out?
because, when i search the old post, they said if boil the peat before add to the filter, no brown color come out, right?

Use Co2 to decrease the pH value, but you have to keep less in fish population.

i studied it in Chemistry:

CO2+H2O ---> H2CO3 <-----> 2H + + CO3 2-

but mine CO2 system is DIY,
the weather is quite cold now, i dun know how to keep the bottle warmer

To bring down pH, you can try using Oak or Beech leaves.

why dont u consider to put some ADA BLACK soil ler?

no colour, PH Down, soften water.

咁咪唔駛攪咁多野嘛...

ADA black soil is not available in Canada. All other brands are too expensive for a kid like me (I am always a kid when it comes to $$)... But in the long run, I really think soil is better...

I have read some articles about making your own soil... I think it is another option, but I will have obtain lots of equipments and materials to make them.
