水草情迷

我以前係得個24"缸只養魚冇種草,有次行魚街見到個PML彎角缸好靚又唔貴加埋個櫃都係幾百元,跟住買時個SALES話呢D缸最好用來種水草,加上自己又想試下,見佢都好似好老實及又幾有料甘,甘就落左"答",叫佢汁齊一套比我,結果埋單6千幾,重話計平左比我,唔好話比其他人知個價錢,全部野:30"PML缸X1連燈(PML PL11W*2),櫃X1,50W缸底發熱線連大陸恒溫,2KG CO2氣樽加BIOPLAST雙錶頭及CO2計泡及溶解器,EHIEM2224濾水,雜"mud"泥及大粒的碎石(類似ADA POWERSAND的物體)各1包加一把JACO水草鉗,甘就收我6千幾元,條友講到自己好PRO,話佢自己都種水草,如果唔係我覺得太貴,佢重想叫我買好多其他野.不過D野都有用,不過個價就....
我記得個EHIEM2224收我$13XX重話計平左,唉.....

ªyX sucks too. Months ago, Yau Goh from ªyX tried to sell me an ineffective Eheim 2228, a wishy-washy trickle filter which he claims can remove no3 ( what a king of bullshit !). I insisted on buying 2028, which was $150 more expensive that Fat Kee ( that's ok because Yau Goh said Fat Kee only sold parallel import Eheim products with no warranty). After all, Yau Goh promised me to give me a $100 discount, to offset Fat Kee's lower price.
The funny(sad) thing was that when I foot the bill ( Eheim,filtration material & some other things ) Yau Goh only gave me a $50 discount on the 2028 & said he would never have cut a deal at a $100 discount when I reminded him the promise he made. (He certainly had a short memory...desperately needed to upgrade the RAM in his brain)
Since everything had been unpacked, I somehow sucked it up & purchased the stuff. I would never come back to that shop again.
I could have unleashed more breaking news regarding the punks/bandits in Mongkok, but my indentity would be exposed if I do so......

You just need tell the story what you met but don't expose the name of the suck's shop. I just consider of your personal safety when you come to FS next time!!

I don't give a damn about my personAL SAFETY - I'm telling the nothing but the TRUTH ! Here's another "good" one.
The host of the show was the short-sighted(literally!) husband of "watergrass queen" - the shop near the crossroad.
There was one time when I intended to buy shrimps from their shop & here's the conversation.
Me : "Will atum angel eat the shrimps?"
4-eye husband :"You didn't buy atum angel from me, so it will be unfait if I answer your question!"
Then his wife, watergrass queen asked, "How many shrimps do you want ?"
Me ".....???"(speechless)
The moral of the story is that LFS owners are mostly so short-sighted that they don't have a clue about the term "potential customer". Although I didn't buy the angel fish from them, I have (had) every intention to buy the shrimps from them since the other LFS are outta stock.
Furthermore, "watergrass queen" has more "evil" deeds than anyone can imagine - I will disclose their antics very soon - so stay tune !

Indeed, GL, are you Yau Goh youself ? He told me he has a 40" tank & your configuration is quite similar to his.....

大家在魚街,有幸有不幸.

而我在魚街的日子屬比較幸運一類
可能我有養草朋友之前教過路,
由第一次與老婆在 繽記 買 18" Nisso缸 開始,
都無俾人搵笨實. 而當時所買的傢餐都用得著,
一年半後再買多個 36" Nisso缸, 真真正正去學養草,
都無乜激氣野發生過, 當時只激氣養極D草都謝晒 .
甚至現在再用番個18"舊缸起多個埃及Feel景 (老婆 design),
D舊器材還是工作如常.

以前如有不明的地方,我都係去 繽記 取經, 可說是我的開朦老師.
有時無買野,米高都好樂意解釋給我聽,甚至叫我唔使買這樣那樣器材.
可能熟落左有關啦.
(請不要誤會,我不是幫 繽記 賣廣告, 我只是實話實說而已)

再加上搵到這個魚友聖地 Aqugrass, 學得就更加多野!!

I remember him spending 20mins to fix my co2 dispenser ($90) & showing me the eheim accessories in details although I already told him I had minimal intention buying it.
So, he's a rare item in Mongkok - a businessman with some DECENCY. I hope he can keep up the good work.

我昨日去"馬x水族"見到個假珊瑚,粉紅色原價$6x,特價$3x,
我同個店員講話買,跟住佢打算去囉果時,有個可能係老闆的阿佰話,無喇賣晒,要買就買其他色啦(無特價),跟住我話要display果個,佢話唔得,要比人睇,車!無得買比咩人睇嗟.....,跟住我行出門口,比我見到門口仲有3個display放係度,分明特登唔賣特價果個啦!
見我係女仔好"洽"d咩?!
雖然係好少錢,但係我覺得呢間鋪好唔老實! 貼住減價果d,其實唔係賣! 又要引人入去間鋪!!!!
