早幾日去魚街想買三支 ADA 白光管,代替用開的跟燈箱來的 Nisso光管.
點不知我用的呎吋無貨

舖頭老闆叫我買一支日本名牌螢光管放係中間用住先,話好正架....光度有 12000K....牌子名我唔識讀,但有個Model : FL32S.REB (For Professional),注明係俾水草,植物,無脊椎動物光合成促進用.

安裝後開燈後

waaaaa 喑左好多喎,但就無以前咁黃...
其實對草類係好定係唔好???
請各位師兄師姐俾下意見小弟. Tks.

12000K

I thought the acceptable range is from 5000K - 8000K

Doesn't 12000K light encourage algae growing

Are you using the 12000K model or RB37 Professional.
RB37 is not recommended, it is dim and the colour is purple.

A good combination will be 1 x 12000K + 2 x ADA or 2 x 12000K + 1 x ADA in your Nisso lamp holder

Felix, the color of this 12000K tube is bright white with a very little bit blue. Whereas the ADA 8000K tube is bright white with a very little bit green. They are good to the grass growth.
Don't worry about it's "claimed" color temperature of which may not be correct, there colour spectum are good for photosynthesis. You can get more information from their Website.

BTW, you can order this tube directly from Japan.

Yup! They gave me the RB37 Professional one .

Tyvm for your useful informations! And i will consider your suggestion.

One more question,
why u said that 12000K is better than ADA? Which area is better? a bit blue is better than a bit green or the brightness?
Becoz i will think about to buy 2xADA or 2x12000K.

FYI, im using Nisso 36" width and 17" height Tank.

If you check their website, they have compared their product with ADA 8000K tube.
Before I am using the 12000K I used ADA and comparatively speaking, the plant growth is similar, but the lighting of the 12000K is more appeal to my eye.

Actually the blue or green are not observable if you do not put them side by side for comparison. You can only see bright white if you look at them alone.

2 types of tube together will provide 2 different spectum of light source of which can compensate the weakness of one.

The charge me 2,600 yen for one 32FL and shipping is included, but the TT charge from HKBank is HKD120 (you may try and see if other bank have a better service charge) .
