Does the baby tank is another tank, or the BB tank in the original tank ??
Maybe you can let the mother to look afer the babies until they are about 1cm~

But not to make a big disturb to the mother fish.
For more subsistence rate, u can separate them afer 1 weak

Have you prepare the BBS?
