Today i overheard a shop in fish street introducing his super expensive SAE ($28@) to a customer:

"This fish are from India, they grow in the water coming down from the snow mountain of Himalaya! That's why they have a nickname called "snow mountain fying fox". They are very good for the tank. We use to sell them for $48@. But bec we found a source with good supply, we can lower it to $28@. U know, we bought almost all the "foxes" from the source, several 10K, and we mainly supply to china. We distribute in HK only very small number for sale"

What a great story!!

Btw, when i first look for that fish (About 2 yrs ago, i came to know the fish from a plantsite in US), and only found them in that shop, they told me it was from India, and $48@ was cheap already. And supply is very limited cuz there was an earthquake in India.
I bought two , super expensive!! but not bec i believe his crap India story(i know where the fish come from), but that i knew it was effective for controling algae. Can't believe until now, he is still telling the india story .

Also, i once saw him selling the Amano shrimp for $15 each, where everyone else are selling them at $5@ at that time!
He use a diff name for the shrimp too.

我第一次聽到 SAE 係由 "喜瑪拉亞山" 出產O既地方, 就係 X 鱗啦... 都成年幾兩年前O既事呀..

Frankly speaking,I havn't 'bond chan' that shop for 4 years because they are 吹水王( i realised finally), only see and 'steal hear' story introduced by 'loben leung' inside!

Haha, so many people have heard that crap Himalaya flying fox story!!!
Yes, it is that store X 鱗. The 'loben leung' and 'loben' (i think)
are both big 吹水王.
I think many first time aquarium fans are fooled by them (and probably fail in their first tank and left the hobby!)
I don't buy from them now, but sometime i went in and hear them 吹水 to new hobbyists. Kind of amusing

你們講日X那位老闆娘, 是否好似巴西國家隊裏面的朗拿天奴差不多樣, 不過是女版. 是否一有客入去, 就好似英鵡"有MUK幫你?"咁叫的女人, 真係好乞人憎.
話說我一年多前, 去日X買了一對三色仙, 要七十多元一條, 他還吹水說是星架坡入口, (應該是大陸或台灣魚). 當返到屋企, 不足一星期條魚便有棉花病, 而且傳到整缸養了一年多的六條大金頭仙都全部瓜清, 所以我以後都不光顧他們.
後來的一兩個月, 見他的缸個個都落了藥, 整間日X變了疫區, 我真是心涼.
我認為一間負責任的商店, 應該將魚養定了, 才出售. 不應害人. 但是我想魚街都很少舖做得到. 祇有自己依賴經驗.

I was one of 日X's the victim and have never buying from them again.

既然有咁多受害人, 不如又列日X做禁飛區啦.

我都重會飛入去睇下有乜貨~ 然候去第二度買~ haha

其實都冇乜必要禁佢既, 鬼叫佢地用極度熱情友善的態度去吹水, 令到人人都信以為真, 難以抗拒咩~

在於服務態度上, 的確好高分. 但在於真確性同價錢, 就.....

我都試過在老闆娘既熱誠招待下以$60元買了2條熊貓鼠魚, 貴唔貴? 以前就唔識, 而家咪知 lor! Double 之ma!

總知呢間店幫唔幫襯就自己諗, 願打願捱lor.

哎吔~我前排都去咗日x買sae, 佢哋話攞條雪山飛弧俾我, 不過後尾冇貨, 依家見你哋咁講, 諗番都覺得好彩.
