Hi,
I went to Fat Tak last night and saw their new tank. It surely looks impressive even without a lot of plants in it. I must say the keeper is very good at aquqscaping and understand the basic of a good layout is not the plants but the arrangement of the soil, rock and wood. I talked about this topic before.

It'll be nice if we can all learn from example like this and put more thought into the arrangement of the elements no matter how big or small your tank is.
As for the the attitude of the shop owners and keepers I used to dislike them alot. I thought they were very "inch" as well. But once you talk to them and show them you know a thing or two they really are quite friendly and willy to share experience.
PS I think those rocks in the tank are not " Green dragon rock". I'll check on the name of the rock and tell you about it later.
