本種為:小長臂蝦亞屬, 短紅戢蝦(紅戢蝦亞種)
學名: Palaemon scarletti SP.
原色透明, 但常出現多種體色個體, 例如: 紅, 橙, 黃, 綠, 青, 紫, 黑, 金
額劍:紅, 白, 灰或跟隨體色

與紅戢蝦不同之處是～ 額劍較短, 步足腳較粗, 可成長至5cm 約2吋長

很有趣的蝦種
香港河口水域可見

I have found another name of this shrimp.
细足米虾 - 尼罗米虾细足亚种

I am not quite sure they are the same or not. This shrimp I have fostered before but it is really difficult to keep alive. On the other hand, they are 細卵型 shrimp and cannot be reproduced in the tank. You can see the website and there is many information about the shrimps.

Actually, I write Chinese but my writing pad is out of order so I type english yet.

This shrimp was collected from Sai Kung about 6 months ago. I kept them very careful but they were still all dead within 1 week. Some of them had eggs and I had try to put the several females in the slightly salt water. However, they had all gone.
This kind of shrimp was a very good swimmer.

By the way, thank you for your advice and I am really frustrated with the naming of the shrimp. There are different names 學名 in various websites. I am puzzle with the true name at all.
