[問題] how to prevent 白線蟲,渦虫盤 when keeping shrimp?
Anyone know have good suggestion?

差不多有食物, 有底床, 有養份就會有白線虫, 避唔到, 害處都不大.
反而渦虫, 係開缸時, 帶入的水草都消下毒, 浸下殺蝸牛藥, 避到既機會就大好多.

when i search the old post people said 白線虫 will attack the shrimp, is that true?
but as SuperCTW said 有底床,有養份就會有白線虫 how come there are none in my dwarf cichlids tank?

dwarf cichlids will eat 白線虫 ^.^
but shrimps are incapable of eating 白線虫 ...

浸下殺蝸牛藥 可以殺蝸虫?
d草會唔會好易死?
有冇邊種殺蝸牛藥用過好用?

I believe that is true even in your cichlid tank. They start mass re-produce when there is excessive food available. i.e. overfeed.

To control 白線虫, the best way is: NOT to overfeed and remove left-over food ASAP. 白線虫 should be harmless.


"渦蟲" - you definitely want to get rid of them. They will attack your newly molted shrimps. 渦蟲 is vulnerable to salt. So if you dip your newly purchase plants/rocks/etc. in salt water for some seconds, you can avoid them.
