水草情迷

i bought some grass yesterday. but they turning black today.. could anyone tell me why please...!!! help!!!

you must provide what type of grass, what equipment you have.
also , what enviornment your tank located.

there are many reason let the problem occur.

What kind of grasses?
i think the main reason:

1. temp too high ***
2. not enough root or liquid fat *
3. not enough light *
4. the plants root hurt ***

Are they crypts? I suspect so, since not many plants react so fast in just 24 hours. If they're crypts, they're just giving up their old leaves for new environment which is normal. Concentrate on water paratmeters, or things like metal toxicity, plants don't react to light, or fertilizer that quickly.

There is another possibility, these ain't aquatic plants. But territorial plants usually could stay in water for a couple of weeks before dying.

That's possible, but any plant could suvive no light for days without any problem, and after a transplant, fertilizer ain't being used very much until many days later. That's why I guess it was nothing to do with lack of light or lack of fertilizer, however, its possible that was caused by wrong type of fertilizer or excessive of certain element.

Perhaps you miss read his post. He bought the plant for less than a day.

just one type of plant turned black ..start from tip of leaves, its name called " feather sai" something..... will the temp too high,? is quite warm arthe water.....how i can cool it down? thx alot guys!!
