My tank is 36" 160L of water, 2 X 150W HQIs, last night I turned off the chiller while I was cleaning the canister and doing water change, I spent total 30 mins on cleaning. The room tempeature was 26C and water was 25C before. Then it went straight up to 28C in just 30 mins disregarding the fact that room tempeature was just 26C.

有水冷真的好喔.. 可憐我要整天開動風扇, 隔了一晚, 都可以降到28-29度, 鹵素燈一開, 不用一個小時, 就升上了30度多一點, 如果回家後還不開冷氣, 31度是走不了.
不過鹵素燈的穿透性真的沒話說, 對較深的缸有很大的作用. 又不用經常換燈膽. 只要捱過夏天, 就沒大問題了.

The worst thing is my tank experienced the true power of my HQIs since my dog decided to chewed the plug of the chiller, so he pulled it.... When I got home, the tank was at 33.5C... probably for a while. Anyhow, now things are back to normal for over 24 hours, fortunately, all kind of shrimps suvived, and only one fish died (otto).
