Hi all,

I see some of you are using DIY filter, I am wondering how you can make holes on the glass??? You use "electric drill" to "drill" on it????

If yes, is it dangerous??? using to do anything during drilling (like use water for cooling???)? or what type of drill head should be used???

You can use plastic container to make DIY filter instead of glass one. It is easier to work with. I believe many DIY filter you saw made by members of this site are using plastic containers.

Plastic container or Glass container is better???? I just think Glass seems to be cleaner and more durable....and with fewer harmful substances, and it looks better, or any comment?

but glass is brittle...

it is not easy to drill a hole in glass, need to use special equipment.

YOU CAN BUT A DRILL AT 'PRICERITE' FOR GLASS AND TOWEL, BUT THE LARGEST SIZE IS ONLY 3/8 INCH, AND DONT USE A/C DRILL, USE ONLY RECHARGE DRILL CAUSE A/C DRILL CAN EASILY SMASH GLASS.

大的玻璃鑽是不只3分的，
可到五金店查詢一下，
也可以用濕電鑽，
但當然學beginner話齋，
要少心d，
否則好易會鑽爆玻璃，
記得在鑽時一定一定要加水。
