i'm a new comer and find lots of useful data here, thus, share the making of DIY Lighting : T8 x 2 to T5 x 4

I live in HK island so i went to wanchia for new T5 system,
It costs $240
(($33 for 國產燈架 and $27 Philips T5 管)x 4)

Never go the a Big shop near Wanchai Police Station and Located at Lockhart Road. The boss tell me that a Philips transfromer for T5 (Not T5HO) cost over $300.......crazy

I bought this system 天地圖書對面, beside game centre.

Am i bought this system expensive?

Pls tell me how mush does it cost at 鴨記, thankyou

不錯呀,
不過如果比多少少錢, 可以用T5 1 出 2 牛, 再用 T5 燈腳, 直接裝係燈殼入面, 就可用盡埋反光板呢. 不過隻牛可能會唔夠位而要外置呀

Where do u buy the Philips T5HE Tube ?
I really suprise for the price for each tube ....

Is the first photo's system brought for 240? How about the diy fees?

I don't think DIY costs labour fee but costs many many time.

From the time of design and find the cheapest price, balancing the effort and pressure of family.........

Actually, I designed to buy T5HE rather than T5HO coz that is far enought for my 10" depth fish tank.

Transportation: $ 5 bus and 30 Taxi,
totally 1 hours shop around and find the cheaper place
Material: $ 240 , 3 hours from T8 to T5
深潛: 10 hrs for decision making

Now i change one 6500K to Blue(china product)

The first system was costed $350 at FS and used over 1 yrs

HI 12 chai I have the same type of light box like yours and want
to remodifly it to T5HE. Does it work good? And whats the different between T5 (chinese product) and T5HE? Thanks you

請問d燈架有沒有12"光管用的？因我的缸是14"的，而我想用4支 8w T5。
