u are an editor, right? so do u know how much we have to invest in order to publish a magazine or journal???

do we need to find a publisher (出版商)?
and we can borrow money from govt, right? (i remeber there was a plan to encourage ppl to make business...)

我都係做報紙架，之前都有諗過做本書，仲去過一間話想攪的出版公司見工，不過我諗果間公司最後都係取消左計畫.............如果係寫稿的話我絕對無問題，(我比較熟琵琶及各種雞泡) 有意思過自己份工添，哈哈

SWAI，及各位朋友，小弟係一個小記，不過就未做過雜誌，所以唔識一本雜誌，譬如周刊咁，需要賣到幾多本、投資幾多先至維持到；我可以同我D行家FRIEND打聽下；各位同道亦請提供多D行情丫？
我初步有一個諗法，唔知岩唔岩︰如果本雜誌的廣告來源單單靠魚街舖頭，可能生存唔到，因為呢個市場相當狹窄。而且，正如有朋友已經提出，若果要自己做研究，對一D產品提出質疑，呢D咁「倒米」的言論未必受魚街商人歡迎添！？或者可能要諗得闊一D，吸引多一D廣告來源，雜誌TARGET的讀者會係D乜人，有乜廣告會對佢地打主意等等……呢D我所知太少，唔知有冇做市場推廣的朋友呢？又俾D意見丫？

well, about advertising, i thought about it already, our main target would be 15-50 ages people, so rather than fish street stores and aquarium equipments, we can attract those digital stores...like cell phone ar....DC, DV ar...etc...or even sports wear like outdoor ones....hikin ar...fishin ar....those could be one of them as well....i guess the range could be quite large.....it's just my opinion je.....

有這心真的很好呀
不過不知大家有沒有看過台灣出的 AquaZoo 水族雜誌, 在魚街賣70蚊左右, 內容很多元化, 訪問的都很深入, 會拿到很多外國水族文章的翻譯權, 如果有這種編輯方向, 就很正啦.

出書係一個好好既idea,我都好有興趣,可惜我既水族知識重好淺.......希望幫到手.
記得大約兩年前好多人鐘意釣魚,跟住有幾本釣魚雜誌推出,我會每本每期都買.後來有一本釣魚雙週

我本人就一D 都唔識 la...

但我想個 range 可以闊D
水草..鯛仔就唔洗講
羅漢..神仙都可以加埋在書中

還可以有 2nd head market
減水魚都加埋落去 la....


再找 K 仔每周一平....haha
教下大家盤景的制作....咁就好正 la.......

very very good ideas...i was thinking the magazine will be 100 pages, about 70 pages use glossy papers, others use color, but plain paper....we can also visit some shops' boss, n ask them how their 心得 la...etc~~

coz i know some of them had gone for competition, so their info must be good n valuable la....

but well, how we start now sin??? that''s the problem wor...

firstly, we have to make a proposal in detail!!

points to be mentioned:
1. the contents of the magazine/journal, eg fish, plant, equipment, setting and teaching, letter to editor, competition, etc
2. source of infomation
3. source of $$, eg. sponsorship, advertisement, encountered members, cash flow
4. hardware problems: publishing, printing, editing, correcting, selling place, etc
5. suggested selling price and periodical boardcasting
6. registration
7. hidden problem, eg. how to handle the un-sold magazine?
8. suggestion, eg. establish a server to collect any source of infomation (works and articles) from the internet
