今日去魚街, 同川河買支10wNEC三波長超光管, 竟然只須HK$28, 11月時買都要成40多元, 現在平咁多, 真係唔怕換密D囉!希望日後再平多的, 益大家!!

相反, 大陸牌子PML的11w PL管竟然要50大元!!!

一支PHILIPS 11w 4000k PL 管都只係賣30元, OSRAM 11W 4000k PL 管都係32元之嘛, 你PML係咩牌子咁巴士閉, 可以貴過哂所有各國名牌PL管及光管製造商? 而且我試過PML之PL管用了兩三個月光度已明顯減弱, 耐用程度遠遠不及Philips及Osram. 所以決定罷買!

PML代理商應好好反省一下, 好似劉德華話齋, 今時今日咁o既做生意手法, 唔得傢啦! 錢係要賺, 不過唔駛搶得咁狼下話?

順便借問各位魚友,. 知不知道那裡有Philips 或 Osram 6500k 即 865型號之 11w pl管 賣, 請告知, 謝!

865 係 FL 管呀.

All the PL or FL have 8XX standard naming, but I don't know what's the meaning of the first digit 8.

To tcc:
Philips only got PL-S 11W 840.
And I am using a China branch PL 864 tube, it costs HKD25 in Yuen Long. Now I am testing to see whether it is reliable or not!

I saw there's Toshiba 9W PL in SSP which claim 6500K and labeled '3 band', $20

wwhk : China brand 是甚麼牌子呢?元朗離我家頗遠呢, 搭869來回要40多元.

Super : 我見OSRAM 的PL管都是 827 和 840的, 偏偏無850或865, 而家唯有用840啦, 其實都OK, 不過如有 865 就更好啦!

當然呀! 因為PML是某些大舖做生產及代理，他們有獨市傳利嗎! 批發頭水已賺夠，不必理其安它問題了!

wwhk: the "8" series from Philips stands for "Natural light series".
All Natural light series are based on "Trichromatics technology",
but not all Trichromatics lamps are in "natural light series".
OSRAM also use similar PL/FL tube naming system.

Super: Philips' natural light series 6500K Fl tube use the code
"860", whereas PL tube use the code "865", they are nearly the
same in color, only the output lumen are slightly different(when
compared for same wattage)

tcc: depends on where you buy it, you can get Philips or OSRAM
36W 865 PL tube as low as $34RMB. I bought several of them in
last Guang Zhou trip. In HK, the price is around $50HKD @ in
professional lighting shop.

I have used NEC/PML and other aquarium brand name before,
and eventually switched to OSRAM and Philips lamp. Personally,
I prefer to use 840 color, which is warmer than 865 and give
better appearance to red color plants. In a standard 2' tank, I
use one 36W 840 and one 36W 865, both of them are powered
up by flicker-free electronic ballast. This could be a little bit
over-kill for a 50liter tank.

ADA FL lamps are highly prized among Taiwanese hobbists circle,
perhaps ADA lamp is being compared with mainland made PL tube.
I wonder if there was any comparison made between ADA and
philips/Osram's industrial lighting system.


Anyway, in the sense of cost-effectiveness, I will only recommend
either to use OSRAM/Philips PL tube system, or directly go to Metal
halide lighting(if your tank is deeper than or around 18"), but nothing
in between!

Osram 的 840 PL 管是意大利製造, Philips 的 840 PL 管是中國製造
Osram 的管是一支過孖管沒有接口, Philips 的是孖管有接口.
Osram 的光較平均分佈

價錢只差三幾元, 所以我選Osram.

Can anyone tell me where you buy those Osram/Philips 36W PL tubes? As I did ask PLC in Mongkok and the saleman said that they don't have any PL more than 27W. Tks!

Some lamp shop located in Shanghai street, near "but" street, has Philips PL 36W 840. Cost HKD50.
But unfortunately, I can't find any 865 36W PL tube in there.

可能電器鋪同代理番貨時水水都吾同，所以有時買
到大陸、波蘭、意大利出產。人地大廠商QC產素高，
各個產地成品質素平均，係使用時吾覺有乜分別，
所以你唔講都吾留意有o甘多吾同產地。

其實"made in China"都可以係高質素--如果有人幫
佢地"品管"過的話。

P.S 奇就奇在上次係廣州買o既OSRAM係Made in Italy,
番到落黎旺角電器鋪買o既係Made in PRC!?

The Toshiba 9W PL tube is bought from SSP 'Ab Lui' Street. It has 2 pins. But for some unknown reason, it start to flashing and cannot light up after power-on for some times. I need to switch off for a while before it back to normal.
Bad quality or the problem of my PML case?[/b]
