水草情迷

Last Sunday, I walked around the fish street to buy some 液肥, 根肥 and Amtra water care liquid.

When I walked by 川X, I saw some small 沈木 (wrapped by 玻璃紙) which is around 8"-10" long and 2"-3" high, seems it will quite fit to my tank. Therefore, I choose 2 little one and they are only $7 each...平平

I boiled them in hot water for 1/2 hour and luckly they can already sink under the water. Now I put them on a bucket of water and change the water everyday. I hope the 沈木 can be 脫色 and become stable within 1 to 2 week. Then I will try to tie some 三角moss over it and decorate my tank again...coming soon

May be my 沈木 is relatively small in size...more easy to sink

To avoid being told off by mum, wife or whoever, I never boil wood.

I just put the wood in a plastic tank and put some boiling water into the plastic tank, air trapped in the wood would usually come out from the wood in a second.

I repeated this once per day for a couple of days. Then I change the water with tap water everyday for another few days. After this, the wood would sink and no dye would come out from it.
