Pretty good. Where did you get your lamp stands? I am
going to buy those ATman lamps like yours, but the stands that come with the box dont like yours. It is a few
inches above the tank.

I would like to buy a new 36" tank also, now is searching a lamps.
Would you mind to tell me more about your "ATman lamp" (as mention by eric ng 3299 )?
PL light? how much for the light system? what is the power of the light?
Does it enough for 36" tank?

PS: For your new tank (by new one), I think it is very good for apearance. However, you still need to come up here to learn more other person setting, in order to upgrade your skill to make the tank nature.

First of all, my typing Chinese is no so good... so use English...

There are two stands come with the ATMAN T8 lamp.... but I remove them and put the lamp directly on the tank... but why????

As you know, the penetration power of the T8 lamp is just high enough to cover my 18 inch tank....(actually, my height of sand is about 4 inches high, so the water is just 18-4-1=~14 inch depth)....

To reduce the distance between the lamp and the water surface, I did not use the stand which is 3 inch tall.....

I am using 4 x T8 25W 30" light tube.... and I am going to add two 32" T5 in between the two ATMAN lamp boxes......

Are you going to buy lamp?? pls check "出讓" topics and I want to sell my two Atman lamp boxes..... (as I want to DIY later)... if you are interested, PM me !!!

Thanks for your reply CYRUSTAM. I am still thinking of using T5 HO for my new tank.
I have seen T5 HO light boxes in Mongkok. Length 36" with 4 T5 HO, 50 W. The box is much slimmer than 2 Atman boxes, but is expensive though., costs about $1600.

If you want to buy T5HO for your 36" tank, take a look for 科聯, they have one cost around $1,000.
