I have one fish jumped out at the first night, and dead.

I would like to know what cause the fish to jump??

I had one neon jumped out and died last night as well... I think there are many possibilities depending on what kind of fish they are and what kind of tank-mate they have.

Killies are notorious fish jumpers, so it is better to keep them in a hooded tank.

I have one carnivorous puffer with my neons, so they might have fought and caused one to jump off water surface.

My betta may have been scared by it's mirror image reflected off from the tank glass and jumped out.
