同 Macbrush 講嗰段，不是消極的說話。我是認真的，衷心的。Going around telling everyone they keep too many fish in their tank 是有意義的，但我不會去做，咁又實在係需要人做，唯有希望佢能堅持，做得幾多得幾多。但若佢堅持用呢套「1L水幾多cm魚」，我擔心會在某些情況下對牛彈琴，事倍功半，所以希望他能有兩手準備，多幾度板斧，因材施教， 對住什麼人，便說什麼話。
Back to the issue. I agree with your proposition, but we probably have different approaches to the issue.
I have no doubt that the root problem is 「培養正確心態」, but what shall we do to cultivate this positive consciousness?
MHO, there are three perspective that need to achieve: knowledge, experience, and aptitude, among these, I am not competence in building up aptitude, so I would spend time in formulating a strong and comprehensive knowledge framework that works for various people, and to help them going into this hobby gradually with positive experience. Hopefully by that, they'll develop a positive aptitude toward the issue and eventually cultivate 正確心態 and become 一個盡責任的飼養者。
Therefore「1L水幾多cm魚」is just a part of the knowledge framework, as Macbrush suggested, this might be effective to some people, but it sure is not sufficient. I have stated my opinion on simple enhnacement on this 「1L水幾多cm魚」model as well as direction to develop something that is more comprehensive. I hope others can chip in as well as knowledge and convincing explanations are indeed an indispensible part of the solution.
Regarding the second issue, positivie experience that can build up their passion and devotion, I suppose we all are doing our part in this forum already, aren't we?
