Thanks Triuo,
My temp. is 24C
- Don't use the mini-termomter as it is not so accurate (may + - 2C)
- I use two at the same time.
- Suggest to rise to 25C
BTW, how to do i know that tank is stable or not? Thanks.
- My personal view is that all types of fish tanks including the gold fishes, shrimps or aqua plants one need to build the eco-system - i.e. nitrogen compounds decompsition cycle acting as a buffer to stablisie the water condition. it is concluded that you should grow as much as so called "細菌" as you can. You can use either larger fliter to put more bilolgoical rings or use better quality rings. eg. EHIEM ($100 / L). You can forget those rings coming with the standard package of filter in general.
- Alternatively, you can follow the practice in fish shop that they change water regularly to remove all excess nitorogn compounds and so they don't need the help from this cycle. That's why the shop sellesr (such as gold fishes) would tell you that they don't add any biological rings or 細菌 to their tanks.
- The bacteria growing inside the soil layer and biological layer is invisible and cannot be determined. For example, there's a debat in the duration of biological rings. Anyway, it is assumed that it normally takes a month for them to grow in a reasonable amount. Adding the 細菌 continuously can help you to speed up the process. Some persons swould suggest to check the NH3 level - so as to determine whether the cylce has successfully built or not.
Anyway, this cycle is extreme important and suggest to you to learn more from searching the old posts.
