this is the first time, so please tell me how to keep babies alive...should i seperate the male? or let them like this? and when start feeding the babies?

不過千萬唔好是旦搵個生仔器隔住係原缸就算呀.幾日都尚可, 個幾月....好大獲呀.鯛魚好怕空間太小呀.魚仔好易冇父愛呀.

其實生仔器好難用於鯛b,就算冇游出俾魚食,都好難大.
都係加缸啦.新水新水妖連養菌一星期左右, 公魚應該捱到既....

補充:我都係因為d魚太生性散到魚仔....我先搞到家陣咁....成屋都係魚缸....差d家變呀 .

can i just 養水 for a couple of days and how should i export fish mom and babies to new big tank? what is the best way to transfer them and when is the good time to release mom to big tank ar?

also is it the best food for babies now is bbs? if i dun have, then what another choices ar?

Now male with female and BB as well? If not, where is the male now?

In any case, I don't suggest to move the mom and BB, BB is highly sensitive to water change when they are just few days old.

BBS is definitely the choice for BB, and if you really don't have the facilities for BBS, then suggest to:
(i) go and buy frozen BBS, but this is not the best for BB, and you will need to control the dose carefully; or
(ii) go and buy live BBS, suggest half keep alive for 1~2 days for feeding and half keep in refrigeratorfor feeding after finished the live BBS, this is expensive and not convenient; or
(iii) go and buy live 輪虫 (may not always available) and feed the BB for ~3 days(?).

Have you put the heater in the 9" tank now?!

i seperated the male to big tank, now only mom n babies are in small tank...but the small tank is really small, so should i switch them to bigger tank and do i have to change water now?

Male moved from isoldated small tank to big tank might have chances of infection to the male or other diseases, so beware of its health...

For the female and BB, I suggest not to move at this moment, 9" is OK provided you do not give excessive food and have frequent but small (~1/10 daily or bi-daily) exchange of water...only consider to move them after 2~4 weeks...

Remember to put heater, I think 9" tank can accomodate 25W small-sized heater but beware of the temperature change...

now they are about a week old la...should i change them to a bigger tank? and seperate mom?

also how to pour them to a bigger tank is the best and not harm them ar?

24 degree is Ok but not the best...suggest 26 degree, but anyway don't rush and adjust temperature at one time.
