Help...
I just got a co2 gas tank today.
Try to connect van's meter to it, found gas leaking.
Thought it was the meter connection, wrench it real tight,
still leaking. Then finally decided that it was the gas tank
opening that was leaking. The leak was quite severe as
i can hear the sound!!
So i am going to bring it back tomorrow.
Anyone of u has this problem b4?

Also, i disconnect the co2 meter, what would happen to the o-ring? does it get damage? I can see the plastic ring is pressed smaller, do i need to get a new one??

I brought the tank back to the shop to change.
The guy told me the other person has given me the "show"
tank, which is a little faulty. Apparently the other person
didn't know much about co2 tank for aquarium. This guy is
very friendly, he just change the tank for me and apologized
for the trouble. The new tank is sealed with a wired tag, which was not on the show tank i got yesterday.
He also gave me 2 o-ring (soft black rubbery plastic) and said the soft o-ring is better than the hard plastic o-ring on the meter.

Hi Tony,
How hard do u need to tighten the meter to the tank? Is soft plastic o-ring better than the white hard plastic o-ring?
Does the meter has to be upright, cuz it is sometime hard to adjust it when tighten?
