新手開草缸 (有關水冷機及照燈問題)

水草新手請指教問題如下:

1) 水冷機是日新CL280 (1/10匹, 制冷量280W, 適用水量 300L - 500L) , 用在 38"w x 18"h x 15"d (約170L 水) , 是否適用???

2) 如該水冷用 Eheim Pro3 2075 (動力是1,250L) 推動又是否適合??

3) 燈盤長35" , 已有三枝ADA 32W T8 (32寸長) , 是否需要加多一支管?? 加甚麼管好呢 ?? 我想多種迷牛, 迷珍珠, 鹿角苔等青綠植物 ....

1. 1/10 should be fine. But will you consider Hailea? Or even Arctica?
2. Is 2075 the only canister you have? coz that's not enough even without the chiller.
3. You have over 160L of water. Even using 32Wx4 is not enough.

1) I know "Resun" is not the first choice for most people, but I already bought it la.

2) Besides 2075, I will add another Pro2 2026. By the way, should I place the water-out of the 2 filters to the same direction? Or one on the right and one on the left?

3) There is no more space on top of my tank to put more light. What should I do?

Hello Fish Fan C-hing, for my Q3, if I can manage to place 2 extra 32" T5 lamp on top, so I will have T8 (32Wx4) + T5 (24Wx2) = 188W. And the total water volume is about 170L or less (net off the soil-bed), so I can still fulfill 1W for 1L of water standard. Do you think the lighting condition is good enough for my preferred plants?

38"w x 18"h x 15"d，不如加多套燈啦，加套 2x36W PL (要 DIY) 或 2x39W T5HO 照前，留 3x32W T8 照中後。18" 缸實際前景水位大約 13", 用 36W PL 有反光板的話一定夠光種迷牛, 迷矮等，鹿角苔就要睇你點擺和要爆幾多泡，生長晒盛當然無問題。
未用過 2075, 但以前用過 Eheim 2229 推 CL280 之類都 OK, 所以應該 OK, 但最好用鴨咀在水面出水，令個 filter 行得順 D。
加 filter 我會加舊版 2217 而唔會加 2026，價平而流量和濾材容量都較優勝！

I think I will add another set lighting as you suggest and this is more flexible for the future also.

By the way, your community tank is really full of life. I like it very much.

That indeed is historical to me already, wish I could have that kind of spare time to setup another community tank in near future, really really miss that.
