但當濾水器吸左d水時,就唔會係同一水平,水就會經虹吸作用到較低水位既缸

I don't quite understand how the "虹吸喉" can get the pressure to "suck" water automically!

Two possibilites:-
(1) the two tanks are on different levels.

But then it is very difficult to synchronise the flow rate of filter with the flow rate of 虹吸喉 (since 虹吸喉 will continuously "suck" water from high to low due to gravity!!)

(2) the two tanks are on same level and are connected by a horizontal pipe below "擔位" so that the water will "leak" (by overflow, but not by sucking power!) to the the next tank!

But then must drill holes to the tanks and make sure the connections are properly sealed to prevent water leaking out the system!! Very troublesome!

That is exactly why I have not yet tried to build a barrack of tanks with a central filtering system myself!!

If by method 2, then water will overflow all over the place, not just through the pipe, my bro.

開始時侯水平面缸A &缸 B 相同
濾水器開始抽吸,缸A水下沉,缸B水上升,當缸B水上升,水壓增加將水壓去低水壓既缸 A,咁兩個缸既水位會一樣 , is it right?

兩個缸嘅落瀘筒喉都加個手揼,出水加個一出二但出水口要直徑小一點

Theoretically this is possible, and this is exactly what I have in mind when I saw your question.

However, there are indeed big risk, espeically due to unexpected blockage of the levelling "rainbow" pipe between the two tanks. A piece of 枯葉, a dead fish, or lumps of dirt at the entrace of "rainbow" pipe at Tank B will flood your tank B in no time.

If space is tight, even using hanging type filter is better then what you are proposing here. Remember this is an hobby, safety and consideration to family always come first. Flooding of aquarium not just kill your fishes or plants, but the water might hit a power extension bar, causing electricity short circut, or even fire at the worst case.
