I am a new hand and going to build a tank 24"x8"x9" (26L) mainly for 迷你矮珍珠 like below. I got a 2x14W T5 on hand. Would it be good enough for a 9" height tank?

Since you've got a 2x14W T5,you may try it first.
In general,28WT5 lighting is enough for a 26L tank with 9" height.
Is it good enough for your standard? I don't know but your grass will tell you that later.

depends on what kinds of grass you want. For 迷你矮珍珠, i think better try T5 14W x 3 or T5HO 24W x 2 ( i am using the the 24 x 8 x 9 tank with 2 x T5HO 24W)

I have a tank with dimension 14" x 8" x 10", want to keep 迷你矮珍珠.
any good suggestion?

I have got some options:
1) I have one T5 8w x 2 (14"), get one more 11w pl?

2) Dazs T5HO 16w x 3 (16");

3) Dazs T5HO 16w x 2 (16"), good enough for my tank?

4) BCD T5 8w x 4 (18"), compared with Dazs, is BCD good enough?
BCD only cost $200, but Dazs 16w x 3 costs $450!

One more thing, i can upgrade original 14" T5 lamp (by adding money) to BCD T5 8w x 4.

I won't consider all these as they are not standard size. Only Dazs provides these kind of T5 or T5HO and so you have limited choice of light tube. For me, I will go for PL instead.
