I'm setting a new 18" turk.

And I want to buy the Eheim filter, but it have many model,
can you let me know what's the different between them ?
and the price?

how the volume?

for choosing the filter,
it mainly divide into external, internal.

you should cal. you tank volume and choose the right one.

then you can choose
300L/hour flow
600L/hour flow etc....

Want External Ehiem Filter,
So, what model Ehiem I can use ?

cal. with your tank, it is around 30 L water.
with the eheim website, it is not suggest for using the external filter and using internal filter.

but I think u can choose the low model of external filter with model 2211.

but there is a problem u have raise.. it is the water current is too strong for your tank.

you may need to limited the water flow with the valve, this may shorten the life of your ext. filter.

is it possible to upgrade into a BIGGER tank? also, the filter size will not small with 2211 model. and we normally place the filter under the tank too.
