水草情迷

The pH of my small 12" tank always stay at about 4.5 to 5. Is that too low for grass growing? The leaves start to melt and some of it fell off. On the other hands, those moss seem growing.
There's draftwood, ADA red soil in the tank. Some 5 guppy, 1 SAE and 20 BB guppy, moss and some unknown grass inside the tank. And I am using those 'Suisanku' gi gi CO2 can supply, no water cooler, 27W PL lamp. P10 canister filter.
By adding some CaCo3 powder can increase the ph for 2 to 3 days.

But I see some leaves are melted and felt off the plant. Will low ph the reason?

可能你缸內的水草並不適應太酸的水質,而事實PH 4.5的確比較低,可試試減少CO2 的供應量及試種太陽草。因太陽草在低PH 值仍然能健康漂亮成長!但要緊記在如此低PH值切勿飼養孔雀魚,否則會有燒尾現像!

I also want to try 'Sungrass'. And it seem that my guppy adapt the water. They look good for the time being. Maybe they glow from Baby fish in this tank.
