水草情迷

我個friend個tank有好多絲狀藻類,之後我咪叫佢大量換水....
但係,換完1/2水後....燈魚陸續爆肚,彎腰,爆眼, 已經定o左水佢用tetra aqua safe......比佢xxx添....其後我試試支aqua safe....滴兩滴落水....ph change from 8 to almost 12 .....tap water original.....
請問大家有無微酸o既新水劑?
會唔會係ph突變令魚死?（溫度一樣）
大家會否用"ph drop" down ph before add new water to tank？

pH 12, of course it will wipe out your tank. I have aqua safe as well, are you sure you are using the right amount? Concentration is VERY high for Aqua Safe in white bottle, a few ml is enough for 10 gallon.

I really dont know Aqua Safe will change the PH value so much ga. Do anyone has TEST PAPER to re-test if the figure really change so much??????

If PH12, fish must die for sure lah!

如果要大量換水...我建議養一晚水....最好用網袋加草泥丸(多少少)...令水o既ph 變酸.....令外.....當然打下氣會仲好添~

1. big water change may not help to decrease algae
2. The phenomemon of your fish seems to be affected by disease instead initially. Of course PH 12 will kill everybody.
3. It is strange that water conditioner can raise PH so much. I put water conditioner (1 cap) for every water changes without changing the water parameters. (using Hagen)
4. Don't recommend to put chemicals such as PH up/down in the tank. But change the substrate or add CO2 to control the PH. If no choice, PH down is more safer than PH up.

It is out of imagination to have PH12. What else did your friend put in the tank and what is inside.

It is better check the PH again with different tester.
Well, if this is really case, re-do the whole tank.
