I need some advice on Singapore Wood Shrimps. Except the last incident I have posted a few days ago, which all of them got killed by a large pH swing. I find them not very hardy, although everywhere I ask, everybody suggested that they are very hardy spieces, and really live a long time... The best I have been was around 6 months, and they would suddenly just die. I am investigating the reasons, but before I get any result, I would like to hear any tricks, or common misunderstanding among Singapore Wood Shrimps. I truly think that they're fabolus creatures, and really love to have a long lived few in my tank.
For these shrimps, my tank is near pH 7, and GH is always above 4. Oxygen level is over 200% saturation day/night, plenty of water movement, and also temp. is 23C.
