水草情迷

想問問大家會唔會長期用某些藥水例如係清水晶，水質穩定劑，去青苔的，或是液肥等等哩？

如果有用開有咩好提議？同埋有咩要注意哩？

Avoid using chemicals. You may use liquid fertilizers after 3 months of setup. Usually, we have ADA Green Bright Special, Brighty K, Step2 and ECA. Just keeping the water condition by regularly changing water.

BTW, is your tank of 24" tall? If yes, T5HO is not good enough. You have to use HQI, then you'll need a chiller during summer. Also, why is the lighting hour so different between weekdays and weekends? For what purpose? They should be consistent everyday. If your tank is a new setup, starting with 4 hours is fine, but why 8 hours for weekends? Finally, the lighting hours should be close to natural daylight. As the pros here have mentioned, 10:00am-6:00pm would be the best. For the canister, I have no idea about the model. But it should have around 1500L/hr flow rate.

For the lighting, I dont know where I can buy the timer to light up the light automatically. So I turn it on manually. That's why the difference.

Is it expensive? HQI?

Any electrical shop should have timer. Between manual and electronic, I'd prefer electronic timer. I have never been using HQI, let other c hings help.
