just bought a 沈木 and put into my tank. I have put in deep down into the soil. but, it always slip down. what should I do?

put some stones to make it stable 。

1)沈木本身可唔可以座定,如果座吾定就要加D野頂
2)木放入魚缸時,有沒有沉或煲過,等他吸飽水

有沉. but, if i put the rock in between, then there will be less space to put the plant. is there any other ways to fix the rock into the soil?

Have you consider tying small pieces of pebble to the underside of the drift wood as a temporary measure until the wood itself builds up negative buoyancy? You could put these pebbles into 2-3 mash bags and tie the bags using transparent fishing line to various points of the wood's underside so they would be less visible.

i am thinking of using a screw and fix the wood onto a plastic plate or iron net (the one we usually put in between the soil and powersand). so, the soil on top of the plate and the drift wood will not move around.

That could work too although it sounded like a major operation since you have to move the soil onto the plate / net. Perhaps it could stir up the bottom too much and lead to other problems...

thanks. i am saying for another big tank which I will purcahse next month.
for the small 18" tank, i will just leave it as it is. hope it will not slip down again. if i touch slightly it by mistake when putting new plant, sure it will fall. so, i have to be very carful now.
