但真係好想試，
還有甚麼都可以舖個 靚草皮呢

You have to find out the reasons why plants wither. Details of your setup please. For example:
1. What lighting system are you using? Lighting tubes?
2. Lighting hours?
3. How much CO2 do you supply?
4. Your tank size?
5. Any creatures inside the tank?
6. Any rocks inside?
7. How frequent and how much do you change water?

jay_jj: The tank is still new. In response to your reply:
1. In fact, plants can't grow well without CO2. No wonder they have withered. Start planting again.
2. Personally, I don't prefer LED. Let's wait and see.
3. If you are going to replant them, start with 4 hours of lighting. Also, keep changing water everyday as if it is new.
4. For your tank size, 1 bubble per second should be fine.
5. You should not have more than 10 tetras inside the tank.
6. Some stones would affect the pH of water. Check it out.
7. You may change up to 1/4 water everyday.

btw, i am puzzled with the frequency of water change
(i believe you provide me the best suggestion)

1. what is the advantage of daily waterchange ?
(i am hooked with coralfishkeeping over ten years and never experienced daily waterchange.
i believe figure support, say NO2, pH, PO4 readings.)
i am an newbie in freshwater planted tank indeed.
i seldom see CHINGs talk about those parameter, e.g. NO2, pH, KH GH... why is that?

fyi, i check the water today and found NO2 is in dangerous readings (dark red)
what can i do apart from keeping waterchange?

jay_jj: For planted tanks, I usually read NO2 and pH. They are not as complicated as reef tanks. Changing water will help in a more natural way to build up the bacteria purifying system. With that high NO2, I wonder your tetras will die, too...

I'd recommend BioDigest. Many shops in FS are selling this. But how long has your tank been set up? Do you have any creatures inside?

I'd suggest you to fix the NO2 issue before you start anything. I wonder why your tetras do not die. BTW, 迷矮 is not 難攪. If you really want to have something else, you may also consider, 迷你牛毛氈, 天湖茜 or 趴地矮柳.

1. N.Cycle 有35天多數安全了. 記得用增氧器, 有助硝化菌生長. 多加留意NO3 讀數, 最毒係佢, 2xppm開始死蝦, 最好係 10ppm內.
2. 果款LED 唔係唔得, 不過好睇你水深幾多, 同Co2 + 養份比例0者, 有d ching 谷得勁d 未要光d 囉.
種迷矮對光和水溫比較敏感, setting 變少少佢都會停止生長, 等適應左佢就再生. 水溫最好 24-26'c.
見到迷矮嘔泡就唔好再改setting, 唔係又要等...................佢適應
