Yes, they are 大和藻蝦. You tank has serious algae burst. Probably, the water condition is bad. One of the major possibilities is that you have overloaded your tank, not to mention that you possibly overfeed them. You should have less than 15 fishes for that size. How frequent do you change the water? And your daily maintenance?

20W is quite marginal for me. Having that said, it should be fine for 陰草. What about the colour temperature of the bulb? And supply of CO2? For the problem of overloaded fishes, there's no other way but just let them die naturally. Feed them only twice a week. Remember, fishes should finish the food in less than 1 minute. See if this helps improve the water condition.

PUMPKINKING: I'm not 前輩, not even pro at all. I'm just sharing my experience with you - it may not be right

For your case, I have never heard about 23W tubes. Perhaps, 24W is your choice. Let other c hings supplement.

I can't read the pictures of your CO2 set. Anyway, never buy those disposable CO2 sets. They are not worth at all. Considering future expansion, you'd better buy 1L CO2 set. It costs around $800. For the no. of fish, I would say 15 is the max. Sometimes it is quite difficult for a layman to check the water condition. Also, the plants and creatures inside the tank may have different level of water condition. As long as there is no casualty, not algae burst and plants are growing well, that should already be fine. Changing water regularly, say at least once every week, is good enough for upkeeping the water condition. In your case, as there are a lot of fishes, you may consider to change water twice a week.

PUMPKINKING: This is what we called "Disposable Set". Never use them or you will regret. $800 includes the cylinder and regulator. You have to buy check valves, CO2 tubes, and bubble counters, but those cost only around another $100.

Personally, I don't like that kind of bulbs. Also, if your tank is wide, it may not be able to cover the whole area.

Never change the filter pad that frequent. It hurts. Unless you have found it clogged or substantial decrease in water flow rate. In that case, you have to find out the cause to cure.

你個缸用來種草係不適合的,如果想種靚D草為有換一個普通20吋或24吋的缸,千其唔好用套缸.
如果唔想換缸可以使下以下修改.
1. 個頂濾唔好要,改用一個大D的濾筒Eheim2217,超養一定要用大濾筒.
2. 如果只種moss,燈可以保留現在,但種迷矮就要用一D穿透力的燈例如LED.
3. CO2最好要有,但如果你用頂濾係會大量流失CO2,咁就有等如無.
4. 當你的過濾系統攪好時,可用Excel控制藻的產生.
不過如果唔想攪咁多野就簡簡單單,只種一些普通moss,鳳尾苔都要拿走,生物減一半,咁應該好D.

PUMPKINKING: So, you're using "頂濾"... I have missed that part, too. That's why set tank is not recommended for plants. Anyway:
1. 請問 CO2 的氣樽能否橫放？ Yes, but you have to find something to fix it. You can't drop it, or there is a chance that it may burst.
2. 氣樽有沒有牌子之分？ The quality of cylinders are almost the same. Aluminium cylinders are recommended due to lighter weight.
3. 分別大嗎？ No, there's not much diffierence.
4. 1L 的氣樽可用多久？ I'm using that size as well for my 24" tank. I'm having 2+ bubbles per second and it can last for around 4 months. For you tank size, it should be able to last for almost 6 months.
5. 如缸頂過濾會令 CO2 大量流失，那我不用"細化器"，改用"擴散筒"會不會好些? That's possible, but not 100%. Let other c hings supplement.
