水草情迷

i recently change tank and lighting(2 weeks), i observe the grass start to grown 'tall' instead. I also observe now the light can penetrate the soils even deeper than before, but why it not as good as before.details as followings:
before: tank 24 x9 x12 ,soil 2 inchs(unknown chinese brand),light daze 2x 24w (i only turn on 2 tube)
now: tank 24 x 20 x 24,light atam mg 600 hqi only(around 8 inches from water surface),ada 3 inches soil
just wonder why better pentration than before but worst result?

新缸新草新燈, 等適應後應該好些啦.
唔得就等新草長到咁上下, 剪出再插時, 拉入泥中, 只露出少少葉, 等重生.

i often have this question: does grass need time to get use to enviroment from tank to tank?
