水草情迷

Hi all,

I changed the sand (with many shells) by the ADA black mud last Friday. Now the clearness of the water is ok althrough it still some how a bit foggy after several water changes. For the ph indicator, it shows yellow all the time even I haven't supply co2. Searched some old posts telling that the tester can work only the kH over 4. But actually the kH of the water I tested is just about 1 or 2, so does it mean that the tester is useless for using mud ?? How can I know the co2 content lee ??

Something I'm a bit worry is the change of the ph due to the low value of kH. Since I use air pump at night time, will it be trouble ?

After the re-planting, I use back the Fern and they shows good under the change of water parameters but for the Cryptocoryne speices ma......the "tropica" type were almost dead (all leaves dissolved wholly) and other "x willisii" are also have the dissolve problem......

記得椒草對新水較敏感, 想要適應後會復生的, 我之前的都試過, 在根部的芽, 慢慢在土中生長出來.
