I brought a Eheim 6061010 pH control set yesterday. I have some problem during calibration . I follow the instruction to put the probe into the pH 7 cal. Solution. The indication panel figure firstly blinking. Until it's reach constant reading(around 6.9 or 7) I press the CAL button, then the processer stored this value (every thing OK till now) Then, I put the probe into pH 9.18 solution. The reading now change and the figure upwards. However, when it reach to pH 7.8 or pH 7.9 somewhere, the figure stop change (it could never reach pH 9.18)
Anyone who have brought this item before,pls share your experience of calibration...

I honestly don't have any idea. But I supposed you have to manually tell the probe this is "high-cal" point, not wait for probe to show you the value. You have the manual?

I have e-mail to eheim.com, the sales of eheim reply me the device would work well under one point calibration only...

我5,6年前已用eheim支ph controller, 當時支筆係可以calibrate ph7 和 9.18, 但後來支筆老化換了一支新的, 便不能cal 9.18了, 我以為係個錶壞壞地, 但我見佢cal完ph7之後又好正常, 所以照用到現在, 都仍然好穩定準確, 所以應可放心使用, 可能廠方面認為無必要cal 9.18, 又或者想降低成本o卦?!

Thanks for your information. It is very useful for me, I guess not the probe can't detect pH 9.18, the main reason is the processor itself, since the set point the processor is laid between 6 to 8 only. However, the sales of eheim emphzasis that one point calibration is enough for this devices to work.By the way, is seem OK up till now....

TO tcc: Besides, how long for one probe could stand for???

魚街d人話用約1,2年, 不過你唔駛咁擔心, 因為支筆一唔掂會自然話你知, 譬如你將支筆放入ph9, 個錶會衝一衝上去跟住慢慢跌返落7, 如你放入ph4, 佢又會跌落去然後慢慢升返上7, 總之你攪來攪去都係得個7, 咁你就去買支新就唔會7啦!

不過支筆都好貴, 係川河買要6舊!!
